A hacker group known as ShadowHacker has claimed to have gained access to the database of freshersworld.com, a popular website for job seekers in India.

The group has reportedly obtained 1.1 million lines of data, including personal information such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers.

data

While The Cyber Express team has reached out to freshersworld.com, the company is yet to respond.

However, this is not the first time ShadowHacker has made such claims.

Recently, the group also claimed access to data from over 30 million users of Indian Railways. However, the Ministry of Railways denied any data breach, stating there was no leak from the IRCTC server or any other railway server.

ShadowHacker continues its operations

The Railways further explained that it had received an alert from the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) regarding a possible data breach incident related to Indian Railways passengers.

However, after analyzing sample data, it was determined that the reported or suspected data breach did not come from the IRCTC servers.

These incidents highlight the growing threat of cyber-attacks and data breaches in India.

The country has seen a significant increase in such incidents over the past few years, with hackers targeting individuals and organizations.

Businesses and government agencies must take steps to protect their data and secure their systems from cyber-attacks.

Essential for organizations to protect their data

One way to mitigate the risk of cyber attacks is by implementing robust cybersecurity measures.

This includes having a secure network infrastructure, regularly updating software and systems, and conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

Additionally, businesses and organizations should prioritize training employees on best cybersecurity practices and ensuring that their systems and data are backed up regularly.

In conclusion, the recent claims by ShadowHacker regarding data breaches of freshersworld.com and Indian Railways serve as a reminder of the importance of cybersecurity.

All organizations and individuals must take the necessary steps to protect their data and prevent such incidents. With the proper measures in place, we can safeguard against cyber threats and ensure a safer online environment.
