The SiegedSec hacker group, led by the administrator “YourAnonWolf,” emerged just before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and gained notoriety for its hacktivism. Self-identifying as “gay furry hackers,” the hacker group self-praises connections with hacker groups like GhostSec, with members typically aged 18 to 26.

Their Telegram channel, created on April 3, 2022, marked their inception. Operating with juvenile humor, they deface websites, leak sensitive data, and infiltrate databases. Primarily targeting public administration and diverse sectors worldwide, they’ve hit companies in India, Indonesia, and the USA, leaking data from 30+ firms.

The most noticeable cyberattacks carried out by the threat actor include defacing over 100 domains and leaking extensive data like Atlassian’s employee records shared post-Valentine’s Day 2023. The group has claimed multiple attacks over the years and continues to target organizations regardless of the geographical location or size.
