Kerala Cyber Xtractors, a hacking group claiming to be from India, posted names of targets from Pakistan and Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Besides claiming the National Board of Revenue cyber attack, several groups of Indian hackers have added education boards and other government websites to their victim list.
Alleged National Board of Revenue cyber attack and other targets
The hacker posted the following names of breached entities:
- Dhaka education board
- National Board of Revenue, Bangladesh
- Bangladesh Primary Education website
- The myGov website, Bangladesh
Besides government portals of Bangladesh, KCX also allegedly attacked the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment, Pakistan. All the websites were functional at the time of writing.
The Cyber Express reached out to confirm the National Board of Revenue cyber attack; however, we have not received a response so far.

Kerala Cyber Xtractors tagged around 10 hacker groups on the Telegram messages by the hacktivist group. Among the hackers were:

The message read, “We are in your systems,” with a smiling emoji and along with the caption, “FEEL THE POWER OF INDIAN HACKERS”.
The group posted samples of data stolen from the National Board of Revenue cyber attack and others on Telegram, putting the exposed individuals at risk.
The exposed samples with names and other data can be exploited and used to extort money by others finding the details. The group has also posted details of individuals from the cyber attacks openly on its social media channels.

Not much was written about the cause of the National Board of Revenue cyber attack and others. Nor was it clear what type of cyber attacks were launched by the hacker collective. The damage to the systems could not be determined yet.
The group, which calls itself a non-governmental organization on a social media page, is active on social media and has close to 1000 followers on its Facebook page. Their description on another social media channel reads, “hackers who hack for justice.
