The credit union cautioned its members about the rise in deceptive text messages and phone calls impersonating banks or credit unions, emphasizing that they never solicit personal or account information through such means.
The institution also reassured members that they would never send text messages containing clickable links. Doubtful recipients were urged to verify the authenticity of communications by directly contacting the credit union at 518-453-9748.
