About MicroTrain Technologies

Stan Van Nice and Dennis Muller established MicroTrain Technologies in 1999, which is considered to be one of the well-known training providers in Chicago. More than ten thousand persons and corporate students have been trained by it. They are offering hands-on training with training centers in Chicagoland, having different courses like IT, project management application, and development.

About LockBit

LockBit is one of the world’s largest and most advanced criminal organizations that uses computer technologies. They are connected with Russian cybercrime rings with masterful intrusion tactics. However, the FBI has not directly linked them as Russian but a review of their publicly available communications supports Russia’s origin with international affiliates.

The LockBit gang just came into existence in the last quarter of 2019 with experts claiming they only started offering ransomware as a service early in January this year. During 2022, LockBit was the most prominent global ransomware gang and RaaS operator recording the greatest numbers of suffered victims at its data leak website.

Recently, the LockBit group has attacked one of the leading global aerospace, and commercial jetliner manufacturers and US military and defense contractors – Boeing. On November 2, the Hacker Group LockBit claimed to have stolen “a lot sensitive” data from Boeing and would leak the information online unless they received Ransom payment before the due date.

This is a serious situation, which questions the resilience and security of the companies from events such as the MicroTrain cyberattack. One of the outcomes of a ransomware attack on an organization is that there will be a huge financial blow.

MicroTrain Technologies after a cyberattack by the Locker Bit ransomware should tread carefully through the tricky path of cybersecurity. Victims feel overwhelmed by the demands to make tough choices about their data and finally their clientele, customers, and other business associates’ safety. The fight to safeguard priceless information will be a tall order as cyber threats continue to grow.

The road back to normalcy for MicroTrain Technologies and hundreds of other firms targeted by criminals would probably require some tough decisions and painstaking data recovery processes. It sends an alarming notice that heightened vigilance should not be taken for granted considering such as the increasing ransom wares and data breach threats.
